FREE Course in Occupational Hygiene

OHTA was formed to promote better standards of occupational hygiene practice throughout the world.  They develop training materials and make them freely available for use by students and training providers.  They also promote an international qualifications framework so that all hygienists are trained to a consistent, high standard, recognized in all participating countries.

IOHA supports OHTA and are working together to provide formal recognition of the qualifications delivered by the OHTA training programmes.

OHLEARNING

The European Network Education and Training in Occupational Safety and Health (ENETOSH) offers a platform for systematic knowledge-sharing on issues concerning education and training in occupational safety and health.

The fundamental aim of ENETOSH is to mainstream occupational safety and health (OSH) into education and training. Our assumption is that mainstreaming OSH into education and training will help boost the overall quality of education and prepares the ground for the development of a culture of prevention.

ACGIH is committed to providing its members and occupational, environmental, health, and safety professionals with the training and education they need to excel in their profession. ACGIH on-demand, live webinar, and in-person education provides members with in-depth knowledge on a variety of topics ranging from industrial ventilation to noise to ethics.

A full listing of educational options can be found on the ACGIH website.

CCOHS – Canadian Center for Occupational Health and Safety

CCOHS has an established history of collaborating with many Canadian and international partners. Projects with leading workplace health and safety organizations in Canada have expanded the quality and quantity of resources and programs available to workers and employers across the country.

Work with international partners, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Union, has helped to advance health and safety in the workplace on a global level. These partnerships, in addition to its position as one of the Collaborating Centres of the International Labour Organziation (ILO) and WHO, allow CCOHS to provide workers with information from international sources and to share our own knowledge and expertise in return.
