 Occupational hygiene is about recognising, evaluating and controlling health hazards arising from work. Many problems occur in developing countries. The current issue of BOHS's journal Annals of Occupational Hygiene includes an open access editorial on Occupational Hygiene in Africa, based on the Ton Spee's presidential address to the International Occupational Hygiene Association at IOHA 2005 at Pilanesberg.
